C.W. Driver Companies holds a Company Wide Meeting every year in November. A portion of the meeting is always set aside to give back to our community in a fun way. As a department, we come up with an interesting and engaging game with a new charity every year.
2021 & 2022: Each of our regional offices came together to watch the virtual annual companywide meeting together and collected canned goods to benefit local charities throughout Southern California and altogether donated over 1,300 pounds of food.
2020: Even though our meeting was held virtually this year, we were still able to step-up and make a difference. Employees went out on their own to donate over 160 pints of blood, $2,000 of new goods, 1,575 pounds of used goods, and $18,300 in monetary donations.
2019: Employees donated over 164 pairs of new shoes and $2,880 dollars for Hav A Sole, a nonprofit dedicated to creating sustainable jobs and providing relief through the distribution of shoes and clothing around the world.
2018: We hosted an internal canstruction event with canned and dry goods that made up over 320 thanksgiving meal baskets, which was donated to the Foothill Family Shelter, HomeAid OC, and Solutions for Change.
2017: Employees assembled fully loaded suitcases for foster children by working through a series of games and riddles to receive the care package contents. As a company, we were able to donate 30 fully loaded suitcases to boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 10 years old to Hope in a Suitcase.
2016: C.W. Driver Companies employees faced off in an epic competition for charity. The games consisted of trivia questions, minute-to-win-it games, building a wagon, stuffing a stuffed animal, and making a custom blanket for the kids of Children’s Hospital of Orange County and the Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena.
